Sarah Friesen, Founder
Sarah grew up in the Tacoma area, and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Seattle Pacific University. Her career began in volunteer coordination and fundraising for local and international non-profits. In 1997, she transitioned to the corporate world and has extensive experience in personnel recruitment and project management. 2011 brought about a fabulous opportunity to enter the world of Professional Home Management, and she incorporated her company as the team grew in size and expertise.
In 2014, Sarah received the bi-annual Rising Star Award from Alliance of Women Owned Businesses. This award honors a woman entrepreneur who has owned her business for less than five years, and is already showing the persistence, tenacity and leadership to make a difference in her business and community.
Joining NASMM truly changed her life, as she recognized the great need and potential for assisting older adults during the often overwhelming task of moving to a new home. With continuing classes in senior move management and aging-in-place support, she is always ready to take on a new challenge. “I consider it an honor to walk alongside them while providing guidance and peace of mind to the transition process,” she says. “Overall, I enjoy making the moving process a bit easier for them, and it’s personally rewarding to find unique ways of utilizing my skills so that I can reach as many people as possible.”
Sarah enjoys our small town community, local events, and time along the water. Balancing kids, pets and work can often be a challenge but that’s just another way she gets to empathize with her many busy clients. Been there, done that. Still doing that, actually!
